The ActivCellpen® to date is the only cold plasma therapy device that combines maximum treatment flexibility due to its mobile design with the sustainability required in healthcare

Cold plasma per se has a number of beneficial effects on wound healing, first and foremost due to its antiseptic properties. It is effective against microorganisms, including multiresistant bacteria. Hence, the use of antibiotics can be reduced and cold plasma does not lead to resistance due to its physical properties. It thereby helps to tackle the global challenge of antibiotic resistance.
